About Your Roaster

I didn’t start out in coffee, not professionally, anyway.
For 20 years, I was in the corporate world, fuelled by caffeine and a genuine love for a good brew.

That love started early. Coffee has always been more than just a drink for me; it’s part of the day I look forward to. It sets the tone, lifts the mood, brings people together. First dates, early meetings, quiet moments at home, coffee’s there through it all.

And then there was that morning.

You know the one, you roll out of bed, head to the cupboard, and realise you're out of coffee. The good stuff’s gone. The shops aren’t open. And all that’s left is that dusty jar of instant you haven’t touched in years.

That’s when the idea for High Country Roasters first took shape.

I wanted to create something better. Something reliable, fresh, and full of flavour, roasted here in Victoria’s High Country and delivered straight to your door. No more sad mornings. No more compromise.

Just really good coffee, done properly.

So that’s what we’re building, small-batch roasts with character, consistency, and a whole lot of heart. Made for people who care about what’s in their cup, and want to start the day right.
